Minimally invasive “tweakments” are on the rise and younger patients are seeking preventative care earlier to stave off more invasive procedures later on, according to insight from the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) . According to AAFPRS, 82% of the total number of procedures performed in 2022 were minimally invasive; the remaining 18% were surgical.
